Mystic Britain An 8 day trip exploring some of the most significant sacred sites of the Southern Britain led by David Furlong and Michael Schirmer Wednesday 14 June - Wednesday 21 June 2006 During this special 8 day trip we will explore some of the most famous and significant sacred sites of southern Britain. Based in the magical landscape of the Malvern Hills, with it's sacred landscape temple of the 'Tree of Life' we will journey forth each day, in a mini bus, to explore different magical sites. These will include travelling into Wales to visit the stone circle of Cerrig Duon in the Brecon Beacons and the famous abbey of Tintern; visiting sites in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire including the Rollright stones as well as the famous pilgrimage places of Glastonbury, Avebury and Stonehenge. The week will include a visit to London when we will tour some of the capitals famous sites such as the Temple Church, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London, which was built on an ancient holy mound.
Group sizes vary from between 8 to 15 people allowing for new friendships to be established. There is plenty of opportunity for sharing experiences.
